R-K Junior Selected for Youth Leadership St. Louis

Junior Alexis Cross ('13) is one of six area Girl Scouts chosen to participate in the Youth Leadership St. Louis program. Alexis will join over 100 other St. Louis area students in a series of twelve meetings over the next six months, in a program that emphasizes how leaders and community members work together.

"We are proud that Alexis will be representing R-K through her work with Youth Leadership St. Louis," notes Principal Judy Mohan. "Rosati-Kain has nurtured women of leadership, service and faith since 1911, and students like Alexis help carry out legacy into the future."

From the Youth Leadership St. Louis Mission: Founded in 1989, YLSL is a high school leadership program for juniors that develops leadership skills among program participants, promotes teamwork among diverse groups provides deeper understanding of the St. Louis region.
