Courses: French I, II, III, IV, Spanish I, II, III, IV (Students demonstrating a proficiency in a language may begin taking French II or Spanish II as freshmen. Seminar courses are available to those students during their senior year.
Through the language curriculum, students will practice and use the four skills of foreign language acquisition (reading, writing, speaking and listening) relating to a variety of topics. Students will also demonstrate familiarity with the practices, products and perspectives of the cultures studied through a variety of curriculum tools including textbooks, audio/visual presentations and technology.
