Our Mission

Rosati-Kain High School is a Catholic, Archdiocesan college preparatory school for young women who want to be challenged and supported in faith and in their efforts to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become their best selves contributing in the spirit of Jesus Christ to a changing, multi-cultural world community.

Our School

R-K is an accredited college-preparatory school through AdvancED (formerly the North Central Association). During the February 2010 AdvancED accreditation process, the visiting team noted three characteristics unique to Rosati-Kain High School: the school's identity, culture and instructional program. Together, these three commended areas create the "R-K experience."

R-K Identity: "Rosati-Kain High School students develop a unique bond with other students and with alumnae across generations that develop in them a high degree of confidence in their ability to succeed and a deep appreciation of diversity."
School Culture: "The members of the internal school community - students, faculty members, staff members, and administrators - exhibit a profound respect for and deep valuing of each other that is virtually universal."
Instructional Program: "The academic program and the academic culture of the school create high expectations for students' learning that prepares students well for college success."

While the administration, faculty and staff are pleased by the results of the Accreditation Team's visit, they're also looking forward to continually improving the R-K educational experience. A five-year plan is in place, addressing implementation of our actively lived Vision, the instructional plan, improving our guidance services, and improved use of technology. With improved technology resources in classrooms and computer labs, our goal is to increase digital literacy in all members of the learning community, and to provide students with the digital skill set necessary to be successful in college and beyond.

The graduating senior class is the smallest group, while the newest freshman class is the largest, for a total student body of 399 students.
