Tuition and Financial Aid

Rosati-Kain is very upfront about our financial requirements.  We have the lowest tuition of any all-female Catholic high school in the entire St. Louis metropolitan area.  This means your daughter is getting a college preparatory, Catholic education for an outstanding price.

Actual Cost to Educate an R-K Student= $8,190 per year

Tuition Charged Per R-K Student= only $6,725 per year

For the 07-08 school year, our tuition is only $6,725 for Catholic families.  This number is $1,485 less than the actual cost to educate a Rosati-Kain student!  (Tuition is $7,300 for families not registered in a Catholic parish, to make up for the contribution made by Catholic parishes to the ACA each year.)

How can we keep tuition so affordable?

  • A large grant is given to R-K from the Annual Archdiocesan Catholic Appeal
  • Support of one of the most active and generous Alumnae Associations in St. Louis
  • An Annual Fund Appeal supported by our generous donors (60% of whom are proud alumnae who wish to make R-K affordable for future students)

What are the "hidden" costs?

At some high schools, once you add the cost of books, laptops and fees, that could mean a total that is thousands more than what you expected for tuition.

At R-K, what you see is what you get.  Our tuition total includes all books and workbooks for school, class retreats and technology fees.  Students are not required to purchase a laptop.

Additional costs of freshman year:

  • Purchase of dress code shirts, (plaid skirt is optional)
  • Graphing calculator (used for 4 years of math)
  • P.E. uniform (used for 2 years of P.E.)
  • Personal school supplies
  • A $200 registration fee applied toward tuition.
